Marcus was born and raised in New Zealand and graduated from the Auckland University of Technology in 1999 and moved to Melbourne in 2001. In 2004 he opened the Coburg clinic before relocating to the current Brunswick location in early 2008.

Due to his love of running, he has a particular interest in running related injuries of althletes of all abilities, beginners to elite, and addresses many aspects of the cause from running technique, physical limitations and also addressing training errors. Marcus also uses PIlates and strength and conditioning to treat chronic and persistent back and spinal injuries and sporting injuries. Some of his additional areas of study in the physiotherapy field include DMA Pilates Level 1, 2 and 3, Polestar Pilates rehabilitation series, Runity Run Coaching course, and much more.

Marcus has always been a keen sportsman, but running is his passion with an addiction to endurance events – including the New York, Boston Chicago, Tokyo and Berlin Marathons, and over 20 other Marathons and Ultra-Marathons.

He is an avid fan of the All Blacks and St Kilda Saints. He loves spending time with his wife Melissa, their children Cleo and Knox, and being part of the Brunswick community.
