BUBS-OUT (POSTNATAL)

Physiotherapy Postnatal Exercise Class

Bubs out is a physiotherapy led reformer-based exercise class suitable for postnatal women. The classes are specifically aimed at a safe return to movement, pelvic floor re-training and gentle abdominal rehabilitation for new mums. Bubs are welcome to join you in the classes.

Led by trained physiotherapists, bubs out classes will:

  • Pelvic floor training

  • Provide gentle and safe core strengthening

  • Target global strength

  • Prepare your body for return to normal exercise

  • Stretching and mobility to manage your new demands as a mum

  • Provide an environment to connect with other new mums

Our physios are experienced at helping new mothers regain their full fitness and vitality levels post natally.  We can provide you with personalised exercises that help restore posture, abdominal strength and improve your pelvic floor.

All participants are required to complete a pre-class questionnaire and attend a pre-class assessment with a physiotherapist to thoroughly screen for safe admission, assess any current injuries, learn correct pelvic floor and core recruitment patterns and be introduced to our reformer equipment. Classes can be started from 6 weeks post birth.

Bubs-In classes are all led by Physiotherapists and are claimable on Private Health Insurance.

For more information please contact our administration team or book below for your bubs-in assessment.

  • Yes! Prior to joining our classes, you will complete a one-on-one assessment with one of our trained physiotherapists who will introduce you to Pilates and ensure you feel confident and safe to participate, and to screen for any injuries or pregnancy related issues you have. Each of the classes can be tailored to your level of comfort, ability and presenting complaints.

  • We love babies, so of course you can! Feel free to bring them in a pram or we have mats that they can lay on during class to be next to you. However, bringing your baby is not necessary.
