Taylah Henderson

Physiotherapist

Master of Physiotherapy - Swinburn University of Technology

Bachelor of Biomedical Science - Deakin University

Taylah is a warm and dedicated physiotherapist who combines evidence-based care with a genuine commitment to helping every client achieve their goals. She specialises in Women’s Pelvic Health, with experience treating pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic and sexual pain, and pre/postnatal conditions. As a certified ONERO trainer and pre & postnatal Pilates instructor, Taylah is passionate about helping people stay active, build strength, and optimise their health through every stage of life.

Taylah also has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in tendinopathies, hip conditions, neck and back pain, and TMJ dysfunction (jaw pain/clicking). Whether you’re recovering from an acute injury or managing a long-standing concern, Taylah will work with you to identify and address the underlying cause of your pain - not just the symptoms.

Beyond Women’s Health, Taylah has a particular interest in hypermobility and connective tissue disorders, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Understanding the complex, multi-system nature of hypermobility, she takes a holistic approach to care, recognising how it can influence exercise, motor control, pain and joint health.

Prior to working in private practice, Taylah gained experience in community neurological rehabilitation where she worked closely with people living with progressive neurological conditions. She enjoys helping people build confidence in their movement through falls prevention programs that are practical, engaging, and tailored to everyday life.

On a more personal level, Taylah is passionate about improving LGBTQIA+ healthcare. She is committed to providing culturally competent care and creating a safe, welcoming environment where queer and neurodivergent people feel heard, respected, and understood. She also recognises the lasting impact medical trauma can have and strives to make every healthcare experience a positive one.
