Matt is a physiotherapist with a background in Olympic Weightlifting – having competed for Australia on numerous occasions. His sporting achievements include winning medals at the Arafura Games, winning a National title and competing at the Commonwealth Game Trails. He has now retired from the sport but still has a passion for Weightlifting which extends to coaching Weightlifting athletes and treating them.
His sporting involvement doesn't just stop at Weightlifting, having been the Head Physiotherapist for the Moorabbin Rams Rugby Union club for their Grade 1 Dewer Shield team for 6 years, his passion extends to all sport.
Matt believes in long term outcomes for his clients – he will not only work with you to reduce pain but he will also endeavor to address the underlying cause of your problem by individualising treatment plans to help you achieve your goals.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys cooking, making art, and spending time with his partner and his rescue Staffy – Leya!
