Richard underwent his education in Western Australia graduating from Curtin University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. In 2010 Richard underwent further advanced training in Manual Therapy and graduated from UWA with a Master’s in Manual therapy, which allows him to practice as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

Richard has worked in a range of specialised environments from Medical clinics alongside Psychologists and General Practitioners, to field side with Melbourne University Rugby club and traveling around Australia with the Victorian Baseball team, Melbourne Aces. Richard has in recent years worked in the Occupational Health field assisting Companies improve their strategies for injured workers to return to safe and sustainable working environments.

Richard is proactive in raising the public awareness on how to improve quality of life and holds a strong belief that self-efficacy plays a huge role in improving your wellbeing. This requires you as a client to be well informed and educated about your injury and prevention to prolong recovery.

Richard has been heavily involved in the MPA Committee as State Chair and National Representative. The Committees are responsible for the programming and advancement of Professional development for Physiotherapist across the State and the Nation. When Richard is not working, he is either exploring regional Victoria and the rest of Australia camping and hiking. Richard highly recommends the Three Capes track in Southern Tasmania for all levels of hikers. Richard is an avid AFL fan and active member of the Carlton Football club.
