Master of Physiotherapy Practice (La Trobe University)

Jes graduated from La Trobe University with a Masters of Physiotherapy Practice. She has treated a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions both in Melbourne and overseas. Jes is multilingual and speaks fluent Mandarin and Malay Language.

Jes has been interested in physiotherapy since childhood, fueled by her passion for sports like badminton and taekwondo. She has a deep fascination with human anatomy and is dedicated to helping people recover from injuries, finding great fulfillment in seeing them return to the activities they love. Jes has previously worked with Powerhouse Amateur and Bacchus Marsh Football and Netball Clubs, gaining extensive experience in treating sports injuries, particularly in the shoulders, knees, and ankles.

Jes has worked with a wide range of patients, including those with spinal and sports injuries, as well as individuals with postural problems. She also has experience treating post-operative clients, those experiencing temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, and NDIS clients. Having completed the Level 1 Watson Headache Approach course, she is keen to assist clients dealing with headaches and migraines.

Jes possesses good manual therapy skills and believes in exercise rehabilitation for injury management and prevention. She is a certified Clinical Pilates physiotherapist who is passionate about the practice and employs it to aid clients in their rehabilitation.

Extending from Jes’ experiences, she has an appreciation for providing clients with an individualised and holistic care.

In addition to her work at Reload, Jes also works as an animal physiotherapist. When not working, she loves playing badminton, traveling, and spending time with her family and 4-legged son, Buzz!
